Department of social welfare regional office basse Urr recently received some social workers from Contano Belgium during their visit they were very helpful to social welfare office by participating in case mediation, home visits, community outreach sensitization, information sharing seminars with key stakeholders on child protection issues, networking and partnership among child protection actors, school outreach sensitization on child rights and child protection and the challenges and constraints confronting the work in the areas of resources both human and materials, response to services and prevention. The Contano collaboration with social welfare regional office is valuable and mutual benefit of both Contano and social welfare.
Once again let me extend my congratulation to Rita and the team of social workers from contano Belgium for working with me for ten days period at social welfare office in basse mansajang kunda. Let me first all of puts on records to expressed my personal experienced working with Rita and her team of professional social workers it was blessing of having them in basse. During this period I learnt and gained a lot of social work skills and knowledge from the team. Rita and the team are well trained and qualified social workers with required skilled knowledge attitudes and competent in the field of social work. The team really enabling me to settle many pending cases so I therefore thanks Rita and team for a jobe well done. I am very pleased to associated my humble self in working with contano in the future.
Contano is also providing psycho social support to families in basse by distributing rice , clothing ,and educational materials to school children. The people here basse were grateful for your interventions and they are hoping more support from Contano Belgium
